Effective October 11, 2026
Trenchkit is built to work without collecting anything about you. There’s no account, no wallet connection and no server that receives your trades. This policy explains what the extension stores, which services it talks to and why it needs the permissions it asks for.
The short version
- Your virtual balance, positions, trade history and settings are stored in your browser only.
- Trenchkit has no accounts and does not send your trading data to us.
- To price and scan coins, the extension reads public market data from third-party APIs. Those requests contain the token or pair address you’re viewing, nothing personal.
- This website uses cookieless, aggregated analytics. No ads, no tracking cookies.
What the extension stores
Everything below lives in your browser’s extension storage (chrome.storage.local) on your device:
- Your virtual balance and deposit history.
- Open positions, past trades and their results.
- Take profit, stop loss and limit buy orders.
- Settings such as quick-buy amounts, fees, delay, sounds and widget size and position.
- A short-lived list of fills that happened while a tab was closed, so we can show you a toast when you return.
Token scan results are kept in memory for a few seconds to a few minutes so switching between coins is fast. Uninstalling the extension removes its stored data.
Services the extension contacts
To show prices and token data, Trenchkit requests public information from these services:
| Service | Used for |
|---|---|
| DexScreener | Live prices, pairs, socials and paid profile status |
| Jupiter | Token details, holders, trading activity and dev history |
| RugCheck | Risk reports, LP locks, insiders and top holders (Solana) |
| GoPlus | Honeypot, tax and ownership checks (BNB Chain, Base, Ethereum) |
| CoinGecko | SOL, BNB and ETH prices |
These requests include the contract or pair address of the coin you’re looking at. Like any web request, the service can see your IP address. Their handling of that data is covered by their own privacy policies. Trenchkit doesn’t send your balance, trades, settings or any identifier to them.
Why the extension needs its permissions
- Storage and unlimited storage: to keep your trade history on your device without hitting size limits.
- Tabs: to recognise supported token pages and show fill notifications in the right tab.
- Alarms: to check take profits, stop losses and limit buys in the background about every 30 seconds.
- Windows: to open the welcome page after installation.
- Site access for the 14 supported trading sites, so the widget can appear on their token pages, and for the services listed above, so the extension can read market data.
